After searching through and calling several auto shops in Morgan Hill, I found this place to have the cheapest oil change. I couldn’t believe other shops were charging over $30 for an oil change! I’m from southern CA and was visiting Morgan Hill. I’ve never paid more than $20 for an oil change down south, so I was so surprised at the high rates. I’m really happy I found them because their oil change price was way more in my price range. Plus, the customer service was awesome.

This shop is great! Mike and Darren are very knowledgable and give each customer individual attention. They remember customers names, it felt very mom and pop like. I initially found them when my car broke down on 101 on a Friday night. I took it in the next day, Sat at 8AM!!! Couldn’t believe they were open that early. They fixed my car and replaced the distributor before the end of the day. Unfortunately my car died again the following week and I brought it back in the shop. They took it back in immediately and turned out it was an electrical problem. They didn’t charge me for the second round of repairs which was really very kind! The worst thing is your car breaking down and not knowing who to call or where to go. I am so glad I found a mechanics shop in the area I can trust. I will definitely be bringing my car here for years to come. Thanks guys!!!

I wanted to install fog lights on my Toyota Highlander without going through the exorbitant prices of the dealership. I called around and found that many auto shops in the South Bay either unwilling or unable to do anything with aftermarket lights. That is, until I called “MIJEU” in Morgan Hill. Darren was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and gave me a more than reasonable quote for the job. I brought the car in on a Wednesday and picked it up the next day. Even though they spent an additional hour of labor on the job, they stuck to the original quote. The fog lights look great, and I’m extremely happy with the customer service and quality of work! Morgan Hill residents should rejoice that they have such a reputable and friendly auto shop nearby!

This was my first visit. I was very impressed with how detailed( but in plain English) they were about the work to be done. They had my car ready when they said it would be ready. Very fast and they offer shuttle service. I am a satisfied customer and wil recommend them to my friends. There are many auto repair shops in Morgan Hill so there is plenty of competion. Made in Japan wants my business and performs head and shoulders above others to keep it.

My wife and I were tired of paying the high cost of servicing our Odyssey and GS400 at the dealership so we looked around and found Made in Japan. A total surprise, the service is thorough, efficient, and friendly. They can get you in and out of the place in 25 minutes for an oil change. They have WIFI for those that have to do some work while you are waiting.

I highly recommend Made in Japan at Morgan Hill. Give them a try.

I feel comfortable in knowing that the staff is honest and does not try to add extra problems on to the car. We have an older car that needs maintaince and has been towed to their shop on several occasions.

Darren, the owner really knows his cars. He goes beyond measure in customer service and professionalism. And the staff, is as impeccable as the owner himself.

They offer services such as free pick up of your car and delivery. And they are AAA approved, so I receive a discount of my ticket!

Well first of all I bought a car or craigslist, the previous owner said it just needed some new spark plug wires, LOL haha, I got the car for a pretty good deal , I thought. So I did a little research and found Made in Japan, which I thought would be a good place to take a the brand of car I bought. I called set up and appt. to bring in the car for a diagnostic, wow come to find out one of the valves was completely blown, and the diagnostic was completely LEGIT….Darren was awesome on helping me, the mechanics were honestly the best ive even seen. Might I note ive had a few fixer-uppers in my life. well I ended up doing a valve job, head job, timing belt, water pump the works while they had the engine torn apart it was by my choice. Now my car runs perfect, and the best part was the price, I chose to do all the extra work but hey it was well worth it, I love the car and it runs perfect. 100% Thanks guys, I will never go to another shop.

This service can be described as nothing less than excellent. Mr. Darren was friendly, very efficient, and did not “give me the business” but was prepared to do business. His pricing was competitive – no nickel and dime conversation, he gave a reasonable quote and threw in an extra to make me a customer. It worked! You just don’t find many businesses like this anymore. It was a pleasure doing business with this company. Professional all the way. Great car shop!! The people here are always very friendly and honest about the service and work to be done. I’ve been with them for several years and never had any complains, work is always done on time and way below dealer prices.

A couple weeks ago i signed up for the $139 oil change for life deal.. very nice, they will replace you oil/filter every 3000miles (up to 4 times a year) for as long as you own the car. Smart move, since i assume everybody will do their service with them as well.

I heard about this place from my best friend, who takes her Pathfinder here for maintenance. It was time for my Xterra to get it’s 2nd oil change and the tires rotated, so I decided to come here.

The company has a lifetime oil change special. They charge a one time fee of 138.99 for lifetime oil changes on your vehicle (regular oil, a little extra for synthetic oil)… This includes the oil, filter, checking your fluids, tires, etc…. every 3000 miles, up to 4 oil changes per year, for the life of your vehicle! WOW!

My best friend has been going here for a little over a year now and she’s been totally satisfied. I went here this morning (around 10am) and dropped off my car. In less than 2 hours, my oil was changed and all 4 tires were rotated.

The service writer (i think his name was Steve) was very courteous and friendly. All together it was 138.99 plus tax. Good deal.

They also do american cars too… it’s the same business!

My wife took our suburban in to have a simple oil change done. It was a good experience, and she is somewhat picky about certain things, like having other services trying to be sneaked in at a higher price… not that I am not picky about that, too!

She reported a good experience from MIJEU, and would use them again/recommend them to a friend. The previous yelp reviews were helpful, and definitely influenced our decision of where to next try an oil change.

To qualify my review, I’ve only been here once, and it was simply an oil change.

First, they didn’t have to, but they squeezed me into the schedule, even thought they wer clearly getting ready to work on another verhicle. I simply explained that I hadn’t had an oil change in a long time (which was true), and I had a horrible experience with a place down the street from them. (See my reviews.)

The owner was very nice.

The work was done quickly. I had my preferred oil on hand, and they expressed no issue with that (unlike Speedy or Jiffy Lube). The cost was very reasonable: as low as I could have expected. The work was done quickly and cleanly.

I am scheduling our other car for an oil change, too. Both need some major work (100,000 mile checkups with timing belt replacements), and I am going to try this place out for that work.

Oh, and they have FREE wireless Internet access.

I’ve hated a lot of auto shops, but I felt comfortable with this one.

MIJEU has friendly and knowledgeable staff members (Mike and Darren) who take their time to explain to you the health condition of your car in plain English. Would recommend items that needed immediate attention or could be postponed but needs to be watched.

The service is fast- From the moment you step through the door you have their attention. Plus, I can always expect to have my vehicle back in a reasonable amount time.

They also offer early bird/late night drop off for your convenience. Plus local shuttle is available.

I found MIJEU through yelp and decided to give it a try because of the awesome yelp ratings. My fellow yelpers did not fail me. I would come back here again and/or recommend this place to friends.
